RawPhotoPro
Terms of Use
Last updated: September 27, 2026
Agreement to terms
RawPhotoPro ("the app") is a photo editor for Mac operated by Attereon. By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
License
The app is free. If you got it from the Mac App Store, it is licensed to you under Apple'sLicensed Application End User License Agreement. Where these terms and that agreement conflict, that agreement controls for matters it covers.
If you downloaded it from attereon.com, Attereon grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on Macs you own or control. That version can check for and install updates from attereon.com.
Your photos
Your photos and your edits are yours. Attereon claims no rights to them, never receives them, and cannot access them. The app never changes your original files. Some features create, move, or delete files when you tell them to, such as exporting, importing from a camera card, or deleting rejected photos. Keep your own backups of photos that matter to you. The app's library is not a backup.
Acceptable use
Use the app only in ways that are lawful and that respect the rights of others, including the rights of the people in your photos. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, tamper with, or redistribute the app except where the law permits.
Third-party components and services
The app includes open-source components used under their own licenses: the lensfun lens database, the Real-ESRGAN model, GRDB, and, in the version from attereon.com, Sparkle. Their notices are listed in the app's About window. Photos opened from your Photos library, iCloud Drive, or another cloud service are subject to that service's terms. Attereon does not operate or control those services.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. Your original photos stay where they are.
Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. How a RAW file renders depends in part on the RAW support built into macOS. Attereon does not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will open every file.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Attereon is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including lost photos or data, and its total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app, if any.
Changes to terms
Updated terms will be posted at this address with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
