Terms of Use

Last updated: September 8, 2026

Agreement to terms

Clipboard ("the app") is a clipboard history utility operated by Attereon. By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

License

The app is distributed through the Mac App Store and the App Store and is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where these terms and that agreement conflict, that agreement controls for matters it covers. Purchases, refunds, and billing are handled by Apple under its terms.

Your content

Everything the app stores is content you copied. It remains yours. Attereon claims no rights to it, never receives it, and cannot access it. You are responsible for what you copy, for the devices the app runs on, and for the Apple Account you use for iCloud sync.

Acceptable use

Use the app only in ways that are lawful and that respect the rights of others. Do not use it to capture information you are not entitled to keep, and do not attempt to reverse engineer, tamper with, or redistribute the app except where the law permits.

Third-party services

iCloud sync relies on Apple's CloudKit service and your Apple Account. Apple's terms and availability apply to that service. Attereon does not operate or control it.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. Uninstalling removes local data; your iCloud data can be removed from your device settings.

Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Clipboard history is a convenience, not a backup; keep important information in a place designed for it. Attereon does not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Attereon is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and its total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app, if any.

Changes to terms

Updated terms will be posted at this address with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
